INTRODUCTION
Without over flogging some of the important things that we have been told during in the previous messages and the Bible study on Wednesday, anchored by Elder Faromoju. Let me also add that we must win the battle within over self-centeredness which affirms our genuine charity for the Master (Jesus) who we owe allegiance. God affirms that the poor, for some reasons, will always be in the land and that includes believers alike.
BENEFITS OF SHOWING KINDNESS TO THE POOR Ps. 41:1-3
1. You automatically becomes the Lord's creditor. Pro. 19:17; What fantastic deal you have!
2. Assurance of all round blessing. Deu 24:19-22; Lev 19:10; Pr 14:21; 22:9; Ps 132:15
3. Guaranteed deliverance from troubles Ps 41:1; Job 24:4; (Pharisees) Job 29:16 (Father to the needy and advocate of the strangers)
4. The Lord preserves, protects and keep you alive (longevity) to continue his/ her benevolence to the weak. Ps 41:2; Acts 9:36-41
5. Assures deliverance from the will of the enemies. Ps 41:2b
6. God personally sees to it that you recover from any forms of sicknesses. He becomes our nurse. Nurses us back to health This is a potent medicine for all sicknesses. Ps 41:3
7. Your gifts becomes a perpetual memorial before God. He ensures that you are wisely guided. Act 10:2c-6,32; Ps 20:3
8. It is a tested and potent tool for profitable evangelism and discipleship.. Jesus fed His listeners and provided for their lacks, hence His ministry prospered. Ex Ado-Awaye Mission Work; One of my personal experiences in the camp.
9. Eternal life is guaranteed. Matt 25:46
Let's quickly look at one biblical account and the lessons 1Sam 30:1-31
1. Do not shut out your compassion from anyone in distress
2. In most cases, what is required to meet his pressing need may be little. In this case, one meal.
4. He may provide the key (information) that you need for a breakthrough.
5. Have a large heart.
6. The wages paid to the man is a refuge which is consistent with Deu 23:15
OUR CREED
~Jesus touches us so that we can touch others.
~ We will truly serve Him when we touch others
~We will serve him because of His name :ADONAI ( from the word "Adone" which means OWNER.
~To serve Him unconditionally
~We will be like Him truly when we serve others with what He puts in your hand

CONCLUSION
Ultimately, winning the final crown of a believer (eternal life) is connected to our disposition to those in need around us. Interestingly, Some Activists and NGOs are role models in this respect. Be involved. Go out there and touch someone for Christ.
PRAYER
~ Show me the people you want me to touch in Your name, even if I never thought of them before.
~Purify my heart so I won't miss a moment to bless someone on your behalf
